Life insurance sized to the people who would have to carry on without you.
Life insurance pays a benefit to the people you name if you die while the policy is in force. Families use it to replace income, pay off a house, leave a college fund, or simply make the next year survivable. It is a different conversation from final expense, which is aimed at funeral costs. If you need both ideas, we will keep them separate so the amounts stay honest.

The kind of policy follows the job you want it to do
Term life covers you for a set number of years and is often the straightforward way to protect a family while people are still working. Permanent life is built to last longer and costs more. We start with who depends on your income and for how long, then we look at what you can pay without squeezing the Medicare coverage you also need.
Shannon is appointed with life carriers including names you will recognize on our carrier list. Availability depends on your age, health, and the amount. We will not illustrate a policy we cannot place.
A family conversation
Plenty of the people we meet are helping adult children and caring for a spouse at the same time. The right amount is the one your budget can hold and your beneficiary can actually use. If the honest answer is a smaller final expense policy instead of a large life policy, that is what we will recommend.
What we compare
- Who needs the money, and for how many years?
- Is term coverage enough, or do you need a permanent policy?
- What premium can you keep paying alongside Medicare?
- Are the beneficiaries and backups up to date?
Common questions
Can I buy life insurance if I am already on Medicare?
Yes. Medicare status does not replace life insurance, and it does not prevent you from applying. Age and health decide what is available. We will tell you what a realistic offer looks like.
What is the difference between life insurance and final expense?
Final expense is a smaller form of permanent life insurance aimed at funeral and last bills. A broader life policy is sized to income, a mortgage, or a family need. We help you pick the one that matches the goal.
